Western Tent Caterpillar by Gabriel

We were backpacking on the Colorado Trail and we found these Western Tent Caterpillars on a Wax Currant Bush.  They hatch and make a tent made out of silk thread and start eating leaves.  Later, they make a cocoon on the ground and two weeks later it turns into a moth.
