You can effectively work your abs without doing crunches. In a previous post, I talked about why you might want to avoid crunches. While you may not completely ditch your crunches, it’s certainly worth looking at what other exercises you can do.
There are, of course, planks. I’ve written before about how forearm planks in particular zero in on abdominal strength. However, planks aren’t your only option.
