Our family has found so much community and support through Green Mountain Area Homeschoolers. We began attending when our boys were young and were able to opt in to activities that fit our naptime schedules. Five years later, we’ve been able to grow into even more of the group’s activities. I am always encouraged and impressed by the creativity and engagement in the group.

— Leah G.

We really enjoy the flexibility to be present when we can and miss when we need to. We have made some of the best friends and we look forward to the variety of field trips.

— Mandie J.

My family is so thankful to have found Green Mountain Area Homeschoolers.  Not only have the kids and I become friends with some amazing people, we have greatly augmented our regular curriculum with some fantastic extracurricular activities. We have been a part of this group for 3 years and hope to be for many more!

— Megan M.

Everyone is very caring, fun, and inclusive. I look forward to everything we sign up for. This is the best group I’ve found!

I’ve been homeschooling since 2008 and started Green Mountain Area Homeschoolers in 2009. In the early days, we were just a few families meeting at the park. Since then, GMAH has grown tremendously in size and scope.

Our park days, field trips, and programs continue to evolve each year with the overriding goal of providing inspiration and support for homeschoolers just like you – homeschoolers looking for friends, field trips, service-learning projects, public speaking experience, and more.

Homeschooling has been an excellent choice for our family and I love helping and encouraging others.
