About the Group
I started Green Mountain Area Homeschoolers in 2008 and we’ve mostly grown thru word of mouth. We’re located in Lakewood, Colorado, and have a very large e-mail group and occasional large group outings (75 or so) to places such as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. However, most of our activities are much smaller, drawing the 15 – 25 kids who comprise our core group of very involved families. We do field trips, community service, sports, public speaking, art projects, and some special ongoing activities as well.
