Spanish Conversation Group
All ages, all levels of fluency.
What we do:
Instructor Leah Gonzales uses children’s books, games, and crafts to facilitate learning. Each month, families work on vocabulary, phrases, and conversation inspired by the book of the month. Previous selections have included books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, There is a Bird on Your Head, and more. During our meetings, Leah inspires us with her creativity in teaching and is encouraging and supportive to learners of all ages and levels of fluency.
Time and Location: Two Wednesdays a month at 11 a.m.
- First Wednesday of the month – A 30-minute Zoom meeting to review vocabulary and pronunciation from the book of the month. Using her considerable online teaching experience, Leah makes this time a valuable supplement to your learning.
- Second Wednesday of the month – A one-hour meeting at Lutheran Church of the Master with activities to facilitate group learning. Leah’s creativity really shines here as she comes up with fresh, new ideas to keep us engaged and learning every month.
